Evangelina Extra Virgin Olive Oil
This single-variety oil is an extra virgin olive oil obtained from the pressing of Dolce Agogia olives only.
Dolce Agogia is a variety typical of certain areas of the province of Perugia, particularly Lake Trasimeno, where it is very common on the hills. It is characterised by imposing, vigorous trees. It is easy to find centuries-old trees whose trunks bear witness to the passage of time, even to the untrained eye.
It is also a variety that is very resistant to cold weather and certain plant diseases typical of olive trees.
The optimal harvesting period is about a week, which is therefore very short.
The panel test highlights: “a fruity flavour with vegetal tones of wild herbs. It opens with bitter notes and closes with a decidedly growing spiciness”.
